Unitymedia: Setting Up Email - The Fastest Way
Unitymedia encompassed everything from TV and radio to phone, mobile and Internet. As a customer of the multimedia company, you can create a free e-mail account. However, the group is now owned by Vodafone.
Unitymedia e-mail - How to set up your account
In addition to an e-mail address, Unitymedia's freemail account also includes free sending and receiving of electronic messages. Even though Unitymedia is now part of Vodafone, your email address will not expire. To set up your email, call up the Unitymedia Mail sign-in and log in.On the smartphone, add the account like this:- Open the settings of your smartphone.
- Tap on "Cloud and accounts" on Android. On the iPhone, first tap on your name and then on "Passwords & Accounts".
- Add an account and select "Email".
- Log in with your Unitymedia credentials and select "Manual Setup".
- Select a POP3 or IMAP account.
- Set an incoming server: mail.unity-mail.de, outgoing server: mail.unity-mail.co.uk, Encryption: SSL.
- The input port for the IMAP server is 993, for the POP3 server 995. Both use port 465 for the output server.
