While it is possible with many other airlines to cancel a booked flight if you cannot take it, these options do not exist with Ryanair. Neither online nor by phone or in person at the counter is a flight cancellation possible. Since Ryanair does not provide for cancellation, you will also not be refunded the airfare for a flight you did not take. Instead, there is only the possibility to apply for a refund of the state flight taxes. However, Ryanair charges a fee of 20 euros per person and flight ticket for this.

Cancel flight online: How to make changes to Ryanair flights

Even if you cannot completely cancel your flight booked with Ryanair, changes to the flight details are possible. Please note that all changes must necessarily be made before check-in.

1. To make them, please call the website of Ryanair and click on the button "Manage booking".
2. Then log in to your Ryanair account with your email address and the corresponding password and navigate to the section "My bookings".
3. Here you can now change the flight times, the flight route or even the name of the passenger up to four hours before departure. Also a change of the seat reservation and the addition of baggage is possible online.
