Uninstall Chrome - How to delete the browser

You can uninstall Google Chrome in a few steps in your settings. If you are dissatisfied, you can delete Chrome with all the data created while browsing without leaving any residue.

Google Chrome - Uninstalling on Windows

If you have problems with Chrome or the browser no longer works cleanly, you can troubleshoot by resetting it to the default settings. If this does not work or you are dissatisfied with Chrome, the browser can be uninstalled along with its data.

1. Close Google Chrome.
2. Open the Start menu by clicking on the Windows icon at the bottom left.
3. Click on the gear to access the settings.
4. Select "Apps".
5. You will be listed all installed programs. Search for Chrome.
6. Select the button for "Uninstall".
7. Use the "Also delete browser data" option to delete all associated data. If you had Chrome set as the default browser, you can set a new default browser under the "Change default browser to" option.
8. Confirm again with "Uninstall".

Chrome - Removal on Mac

Chrome can also be quickly uninstalled on Mac.
