Charging e-scooters - how to continue
Each e-scooter can travel a certain distance depending on the battery used. If the battery is empty, it must first be charged before you can continue driving the e-scooter. How you charge the vehicle depends on the model, but also on whether you have rented or purchased the scooter.
How to charge your e-scooter
An e-scooter, like any electronic vehicle, needs to be charged if you use it regularly. Usually, they have lithium-ion batteries that you can charge from a regular power outlet.- Depending on the model and manufacturer of e-scooters, there are different regulations on how you need to charge them. For example, some models have a built-in battery, in others this can be removed.
- Use the original accessories of the manufacturer to charge the e-scooter to avoid damage to the device.
- The duration of charging also depends on the model, but is between three to eight hours.
- Before charging, turn off the power supply of the e-scooter.
- Then connect the supplied charging cable to the vehicle and the socket. After that, you can see via the battery indicator how far the charging process has progressed.
- For rental providers, charging is done via so-called juicers. These take the scooters home and charge them there. Um Juicer zu werden, können Sie E-Scooter über die App finden und auch den Vertrag durchlesen. Hier stehen alle benötigten Informationen.
