Middle-earth Shadow of War: Tips in overview

Middle-earth Shadow of War is the second part of the Middle-earth series. You once again take on the role of Talion the Ranger and must fight against Sauron and his Orc armies. To succeed against the evil, there are some tips and tricks that you can use to your advantage.

The best tips at a glance

As in the first part of the Middle-earth series, you are almost always outnumbered against the hordes of orcs and must use every trick in the book to emerge victorious.

1. Gain an advantage through the Nemesis system. Through it you'll get info on the weaknesses of the different captains. You gather information by interrogating other orcs.
2. To unlock or upgrade skills you need skill points. You usually receive these when leveling up. Complete Celebrimbor missions at the "Silver Rank" level and you will receive an additional skill point as a reward. This allows you to upgrade your skills faster.
3. If you are fighting in a castle battle, you should first take out the enemy siege units. This will buy you valuable time for the defense and make it more difficult for the enemies to gain access to your fortress.

Call for reinforcements

Although Middle-earth Shadow of War is a single-player game, you do not have to go into battle alone. In fact, during the game you'll get the ability "summon henchmen". When you use this, you'll summon a squad of warriors to fight by your side. This is a lifesaver, especially in dicey situations.
