Pagespeed Insight Features: These features are available

If you have programmed a website yourself and want to find out how fast content loads on the page or which areas still need work, you can use the Pagespeed Insights tool. It is provided free of charge by Google.

What can Pagespeed Insight do?

Pagespeed Insight is a handy tool from Google and should be used by anyone who programs websites themselves. With the tool you can test how good the performance of your website is. Performance is used by search engines like Google to determine the placement of web pages in search results. The better the performance of your website, the more likely it is to appear in a good ranking and be found. The tool is available for free on the web.

  • Get page statistics: This feature shows how often information is exchanged between the browser and the server where the page resides.
  • Optimization: This tests how well the page performs against Google's performance requirements.
  • Check page build distribution: This measures how well individual sections of the page load. This allows you to optimize problematic areas.
  • Optimization Suggestions: This function offers tips on how to optimize your page and suggests specific changes.
