Printing double-sided without duplex - is it possible?
To save toner and paper, double-sided printing is a good alternative, and at the same time the amount of pages is reduced. You may think that you can't take advantage of this convenient solution because your printer doesn't have a duplex function. However, there is a trick for this.
How printing without duplex works
Surely, it is easiest if your printer has a duplex function. However, there is a way to help you print double-sided without duplex.- Select the document you want in Word and click the "File" option.
- Now you need to specify that you want to print the file. Click on the item "Print all pages".
- You will now see a drop-down menu where you can click "Print odd pages only".
- Give the command that your printer will print all odd pages. Make sure that "one-sided printing" is further set.
- Place the printed documents back into the printer - but this time the wrong way round, so that the reverse side is printed.
- Now go to "Print" again and set that only the even pages are printed and confirm this selection.
