Advantages and disadvantages: Kaspersky or Bitdefender?
Kaspersky and Bitdefender are both among the top antivirus programs - but which protects better? Kaspersky has offered solid all-around protection for many years, detects most threats, and rarely raises false alarms. Both the free and paid versions are easy to use.Bitdefender, too, offers a subscription version or the free program with many features that work very reliably. With none of the programs you have to make major sacrifices to your protection.- Both antivirus programs have a good all-round protection and have similar functions. Bitdefender's Total Security subscription includes up to ten devices, while Kaspersky's only includes five.
- The disadvantage of both programs is that they cannot be used for Linux.
- Kaspersky generally works very reliably. Nevertheless, it does not offer encryption and a shredder to remove files safely. A device optimization is also not integrated.
- Both antivirus programs also do not offer an update manager.
- The paid versions of both Bitdefender and Kaspersky work as a subscription - it must therefore be paid every year anew.
- In addition to VPN, a password manager and smartphone tracking, both programs offer a special parental control.
