Enable Internet Explorer 11 cookies

Cookies are extremely useful in various situations. They store your page settings or the contents of your shopping cart in online stores. To enable you to use these features, cookies can be enabled in Internet Explorer 11.

How to enable cookies in Internet Explorer 11

If you are using Internet Explorer 11, you can easily enable cookies in the Internet Options:
  1. First, open Internet Explorer 11. In the upper right corner of your browser window, you will now see a gear icon for Settings. Click on this icon, then various sub-items will open.
  2. In the drop-down menu, you now have the choice between various setting options. Click on "Internet Options".
  3. It opens a separate window. In this window, click on the tab "Privacy".
  4. Now you have several options. For example, you can automatically allow cookies for all websites by clicking on "Advanced".
  5. By clicking on "Sites", you can manage the sites that you allow to use cookies. You can simply enter them in the window provided for this purpose.
  6. Followed by this, you can select whether you classify the entered site positively or negatively, i.e. prohibit or allow its use of cookies. However, you should always consider concerns about your personal privacy when turning on cookies.
Important: Please note that support for Internet Explorer has been discontinued. Microsoft recommends switching to the new in-house browser Microsoft Edge, as IE will no longer be provided with security updates.
