Discord: Link games via quickstart - here's how

Discord started as a communication tool and is now firmly established in the gaming scene. As a result, features have grown and that includes quick start for games. Read how it works.

Starting directly from Discord into the game: thanks to quickstart, this is possible.

Discord has now outstripped TeamSpeak. Features like the integration of your games are one of many reasons, though not the most important.

Discord: How the quick start works

By adding your games to Discord, you can start them there directly. The game will still run through the launcher it is installed on, however, this method is handy and convenient when you are currently in Discord.To use Quick Launch, you need to add the games first:

1. Open the "User Preferences".
2. Select "Game Library" in the bar on the left.
3. Activate the slider at "Import your games".

Discord is compatible with most launchers, including such important ones as Steam and Epic, so you'll automatically see your games in the Quick Launch area afterwards. This is located at the top right when you open "Activity".
