Network coverage Vodafone - here you have reception
If you would like to surf the Internet or make phone calls not only at your place of residence, but also anywhere while on the road, then it is important to know the exact network coverage of your mobile provider. For Vodafone and other providers, this depends on the network used. In Germany, there are exactly three different networks.
This is how Vodafone's network coverage is distributed
In Germany, there are exactly three different networks at the moment. The D1, D2 and the Telefónica network. The network coverage of the D1 network, which is operated by Telekom, is still the best. It is followed by the D2 network with a small gap. This is operated by Vodafone. The Telefónica network, on the other hand, which also includes E-Plus and O2, often does not perform as well.- Vodafone's network coverage is very good, especially in cities. Here there is hardly a place where you have no reception. Here, the network coverage is comparable to that of the D1 network.
- If, on the other hand, you live in a more rural area, it depends mainly on the exact location, whether you also have reception here. If you do not live directly in the city, it is therefore useful to look at a so-called network coverage map beforehand.
- On the website of Vodafone, you can look at a map on which the network coverage for mobile Internet and mobile telephony is precisely recorded. Here it is clear that especially in the north-western area of Germany, the coverage is almost completely guaranteed.
