Huawei P30 hangs: What you can do about it

If your Huawei P30 suddenly hangs and does not respond to any input, the concern is initially great. But with various little tricks, the smartphone can be woken up again without repair.

If a smartphone like the Huawei P30 hangs, you are facing a problem. Because often advisors recommend backing up the device in the cloud and resetting it via the menu. Therefore, test how the Huawei behaves by simply holding down the power button until it shuts down. Then restart it again via the same button.

Restart does not help

If restarting does not solve the problem that your Huawei P30 hangs, resetting it to factory settings is necessary. First, you can make a backup:

1. If you want to recover your data first, then connect the device to your computer via USB cable. In Windows Explorer, you will find your Huawei P30 as a removable device on the left under "This computer".

5. Wenn das Huawei-Logo erscheint, lassen Sie die Power-Taste los.
6. Kurz darauf sehen Sie ein Menü. Tippen Sie auf „Wipe data/factory reset“.
