Meanwhile, there is a voice assistant from many companies. In addition to Siri from Apple or Alexa from Amazon, you can also use the services of the "OK Google" assistant from the company of the same name. For this, it is usually only necessary to download the corresponding application to your device. Most Android devices already have the assistant integrated. However, before you use it, there are some settings you can make.

1. Go to the settings of your device and select the entry "Google".
2. Now click on "Google Search, Google Assistant & Google Voice".
3. Now select "Google Assistant". If you use the app, you come to the settings directly via the corresponding icon in the application.
4. Under "Personal data", you can set an alias with which the assistant should address you. About "Voice recording of your name" you can also teach this the correct pronunciation.
5. Under "Languages" you also select up to two languages. So können Sie sich unter Umständen auch in einer anderen Sprache mit dem Assistenten verständigen.
6. Möchten Sie nicht immer den Assistenten mit „Ok Google“ aktivieren, können Sie die „Durchgängige Unterhaltung“ aktivieren. So bleibt das Mikrofon einige Zeit nach einem Befehl aktiviert.
