Samsung Note 10: PowerShare - how it works

The Samsung Note 10 has a built-in PowerShare feature that lets you charge the batteries of other Samsung smartphones and wearables. We explain how to use the feature and which devices are compatible with PowerShare in this article.

Samsung Note 10: How to use the Wireless PowerShare feature

The new Samsung Note 10 has a feature that allows you to charge other devices using the smartphone's battery. This feature is called "Wireless PowerShare" and can be used with other Samsung devices.
  1. To use the PowerShare feature to charge another device, please enable it first. To do so, open the notification panel of your Samsung Note 10, swipe down and tap the "Wireless PowerShare icon".
  2. Then, place the device you want to charge in the center of your Samsung Note 10, making sure the devices are back to back.
  3. As soon as charging starts, you will hear a notification sound or the device will vibrate briefly.
  4. If the device to be charged is fully charged, take it back from your Samsung Note 10 and disable the PowerShare function.

PowerShare: You can charge these devices with the Samsung Note 10

The devices that you can charge wirelessly via PowerShare include all Samsung smartphones of the Galaxy S6, S7, S8 and S9 series, as well as the Samsung Note 9 and Note 8 models. Samsung wearables such as the Galaxy Watch Active, the Gear Sport or the Gear S3 are also suitable for charging via PowerShare. To charge smartphones from other manufacturers in this way, they must have WPC Qi Wireless Charging.
