Online you can often find good deals, but sometimes appearances are deceiving. To see if a price is really cheap, Amazon's Price Tracker helps. Read how you can always see the price history.

Transparent development: the price history via price tracker is quite practical.

Online retail invites spontaneous impulse purchases. With a tool like the Price Tracker, you can estimate offers a little better.

This is the Amazon Price Tracker

The Price Tracker is integrated into the Amazon Assistant. The latter is an extension for the browser of your choice, as explained here. Once you have installed the Assistant, you can easily see the price history:
  1. First, go to the product page of the desired item on Amazon.
  2. Then click on the Amazon Assistant icon at the top of the browser.
  3. There you will directly see the 30-day price tracker. In the form of a timeline, you can see the price history of the product during the last 30 days.
To disable or re-enable the price tracker, you need to open the settings with the gear icon. There you select "Customize content" and you can operate the slider next to "Price history".
