Sending music with the iPhone - is it still possible?

With Apple products you are accessing a self-contained system, this can have both advantages and disadvantages. If you want to send music with your iPhone, this is only possible within an app or from iPhone to iPhone. Transferring music to your PC or another service is not possible.

How to send music with your iPhone

You cannot transfer music from your iPhone to your computer or another web service. Purchased content can only be shared between different devices via iTunes and your Apple account. However, with some apps it is still possible to share music between two iPhones.

1. One of the apps is the free app Hoccer, which allows you to share music.
2. You can get this from the App Store, where you can easily download it.
3. Using the "Invite Friends" button, you invite a person from your contacts to a chat.
4. After that, it is possible to access your music library using the arrow in the input bar.
5. Now you can select all titles from your music -collection and send them to the contact you are in the chat with.
6. However, the music can only be listened to within the app and cannot be transferred directly to the other person's smartphone.

Note that most services that allow the transfer of music are banned by Apple to prevent purchased content from being shared.
