How to achieve Fritzbox port sharing

In the settings of the Fritzbox there is the possibility to block various ports. However, it may happen that by default various of these ports are already blocked to avoid security vulnerabilities. If you need to unlock one of these ports, this can be done in just a few steps.

Successfully unlock ports

First, you need to log in to the Fritzbox platform that provides the various settings options. To do this, call up the corresponding page in the address bar of your browser by entering "fritz.box". There you can access all information and settings of your router after successfully entering your access data. After you are logged into the platform, you can make various settings on your Fritzbox.
  1. First you are on the home page.
  2. From here, go to the left menu on the item "Internet".
  3. It opens a submenu in which you select the selection "Shares".
  4. You now see the overview of the menu item in front of you. Next, select the tab "Port Shares".
  5. Here you can now manage the port shares.
