The big question: Echo or Echo Dot? These are the differences and similarities

Here's a look at the features of both devices:

• The first important distinguishing feature is the price: while the Echo costs around 65€ or 75€ in the Plus variant, the Echo Dot is already available for 40€. .
• The difference is also visually clear: While the Echo Dot is only about 4cm high, the Echo towers with more than 14 centimeters in height and has the shape of a cylinder.
• These designs also result in the central difference: Echo has a much better sound body with two speakers and is therefore also suitable as a standalone speaker with first-class quality. The sound quality of the Echo Dot cannot keep up due to the lack of volume and only one speaker.
• In terms of Alexa Skills, however, both devices are on par - there are no differences in operation.
