ARK: Survival Evolved - this is the free Valguero map

ARK: Survival Evolved celebrated its fifth birthday in June 2020 and on this occasion Epic Games gave away the main game. Quite a few new players were the result and exactly for them a look at the map Valguero is interesting.

New maps bring a breath of fresh air to the game. Valguero was released in the summer of 2019 and is also aimed at players who recently joined the game through the Epic promotion.

ARK: This is what awaits you in Valguero

Because Valguero was released for free, which means that owners of the main game who do not yet want to spend money on DLCs can also fully enjoy the map.

• On Valguero, which is specified with a size of 63 square kilometers, an additional dinosaur awaits you, the Deinonychus, whose eggs you can steal in order to breed it. However, this is not a harmless undertaking.
• In addition, there are two new variations of the rock elemental with the chalk golem and the ice golem.
• In the arena you have to compete simultaneously against a dragon, a Manticore and a Megaphiticus.
• Valguero is very varied thanks to very different biomes. Glaciers, tundra, deep forests, the abyss and cliff landscapes want to be explored. From snow to lava, adverse conditions provide a challenge.

The map requires a download of about 4.6 GB and is available at Epic Games as well as on Steam or for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. ARK veterans will long own the map, but for the many newcomers, a hint is recommended.
