Honk: What makes Messenger so special? We introduce

WhatsApp may dominate the world of Messenger apps, but due to ongoing criticism, the search for alternatives continues to trend. With Honk, there is an app that offers a very special approach.

Live chats by definition: with Honk, communication takes place in real time.

Regardless of the design and technical background, all messengers basically work the same. Honk therefore deliberately breaks ranks.

Honk: chatting in real time - sending not necessary

Honk also falls into the category of messenger apps. In practice, however, the app works in a very special way:

• The chat takes place in real time. This means that the other person sees the input of words, punctuation marks and emojis live.
• There is therefore no send function at all. Everything that is typed in is directly visible, even if the sentence is not yet completed.
• A history is also looking for users therefore in vain. The chat takes place through two speech bubbles.

Thanks to this concept, the real-time chats should feel more dynamic and lively. The only downer: So far, the app is only available for iOS. Whether an Android version will follow is currently unknown.
