Monster Hunter World: Changing the chinsect - how to do it

While Monster Hunter World is considered an absolute top hit overall, the menu navigation has weaknesses. This is also noticed by fans of the insect fairy as soon as they want to change the kinsect. We show how to do it.

Not quite obvious: Changing the Kinsekt is done during weapon selection.

The Insect Glefe is one of the most fun and fastest weapons in Monster Hunter World. The Kinsect is another specialty and adds another facet to the gameplay.

Monster Hunter World: How to change the Kinsect

To use a different Kinsect, proceed as follows:

1. Open your chest or visit the blacksmith so you can change your equipment.
2. Now open the weapon selection area. Look there for the Kinsect you want to use and select it.

That's it - since Kinsects are not listed as a separate menu item, but have been packed to the weapons, you have to make the change there. Quite ideal this is not, after some time, however, no longer a problem.
