Blocking people on Facebook - how to do it

With Facebook, you can share what you've been up to or what's on your mind at any time. You can make new friends via friend requests, and you can also exchange private messages. However, if you want to block a user, that is also possible.

How to block people on Facebook

If a person is in your friends list, they can contact you via Messenger at any time. If you have blocked people on Facebook, this is no longer possible. Even if you do not have the person in the list yet, it is possible to block them to avoid a friend request or messages.

1. Go to the Facebook website and sign in with your login details.
2. After that, go to the settings. To do this, click on the gear icon located at the top right of the page.
3. Then select the "Privacy settings" item.
4. On the left side, you will find the "Block" option.
5. Then select "Block users".
6. Now enter the username or email address of the person you want to block.
