How to log in to your Telekom router

If you want to log in to your Telekom router, for example to make a change to the configuration, it is first necessary to call up the device's user interface.

1. To do this, simply open any browser on your computer, enter "http://spedport.ip" in its address line and confirm with "Enter".
2. Alternatively, you can also get to the user interface of the Speedport by entering the IP address "http://192.168.2.1" and then pressing the "Enter" key.
3. After calling up the user interface, you will now first see the Telekom login page. Enter the password of your Telekom router there, which you can usually find on the back of the device, and click "Login".

Telecom router: What to do if you can not log in

Normally, the configuration page of your Telekom router opens automatically when you call it up by entering "http://speedport.ip" or "http://192.168.2.1". If this does not work for you, please first check whether you have entered the address of the router correctly. If this is the case, a malfunction in the network connection may be the cause of the problem. To check this, please first open the Run dialog by pressing "Windows key" + "R" and enter the command "cmd" there. This will open the command prompt, where you can check if the network connection exists by typing "ping 192.168.2.1".
