In addition to the positive consequences of eating honey, the bee product is also suitable for making mead. So there are two reasons to make honey yourself.

Valheim: Honey farm - so it works

Honey you get from a hive.

• This you find in the wild (already in the floodplain forest) and can destroy you to get a queen bee. This also drops honey.
• With the queen bee you can then build your own hive at your base. This will provide you with honey throughout.
• Important: If you set up several hives, you should leave some space between them.
• It is also advisable to protect the hives, such as by a fence, because they act as an attractant on all sorts of creatures.

Each hive produces honey permanently. Stored a maximum of four units; you need to take them out so that the work continues. Do this regularly and you will never lack the golden substance on your journey through Valheim.
