Connecting a receiver - what to consider
If you want to receive television programs, you usually need a receiver. This is now already available for little money in any electronics store. Once you have the device, you only need to connect it. The process differs depending on the type of device.
How to connect your receiver
Connecting a receiver is not very complicated. However, you should still note a few things.- Connect the receiver via power plug to the power, so that the device can turn on.
- Take an HDMI or Scart cable, depending on the age of the device, and plug it into the receiver. The slots are usually marked with the name and can be easily distinguished. Shape and size are also a good indication. If there are several options, it is best to always use the socket that is marked with a "1".
- Now you just have to connect your receiver to the satellite dish, the antenna socket or the cable TV socket. To do this, take the appropriate cable and plug it into the socket on your wall. Then attach the other end to your receiver. The connection is usually referred to as "Ant-In".
- Have you connected everything correctly, you only need to set the receiver correctly.
