iPhone X Enter Pin: How to Unlock Your Device

The iPhone X offers two ways to protect it from unauthorized access. You can unlock the device using facial recognition or choose a six-digit pin that you enter before using the iPhone. To open the number field for input, touch the screen and then swipe up.

Unlocking iPhone X with a pin

You can alternatively unlock iPhone X using facial recognition. Once you have this set up, all you have to do is lift up the iPhone and look at the front camera to unlock the device. Again, though, you'll need to choose a pin in case facial recognition doesn't work.

How to set up a pin

1. Open the settings.
2. Select "Face ID and Code".
3. Go to "Enable Code".
4. You can now enter any six-digit code.
5. Enter the code a second time to confirm the selection.
6. The code is now activated and saved.
7. Close the settings.

Enter the pin

1. Touch the screen of your iPhone X.
2. Swipe from the bottom edge of the screen to the top.
