Pairing Asus Zenfone 6 with TV - how to do it

If you want to view the photos or videos you have taken with your Asus Zenfone 6 in a larger view, pairing it with the TV is a good idea. If you have a Smart TV, the connection is quick and easy.

Zenfone 6 and TV: How to establish a wireless connection

With the "Screen Mirroring" function, you can mirror the display of your Asus Zenfone 6 to the Smart TV. The picture and sound are thus displayed simultaneously on the smartphone and TV - without any cables. To set up the pairing, proceed as follows:

1. Activate the "Screen Mirroring" function on both the Zenfone 6 and your Smart TV.
2. A list of available TV devices now appears on the smartphone. Select your Smart TV here.
3. If you are now shown a code on the TV, enter it on the smartphone to confirm the connection.
4. Now the Zenfone 6 screen is visible on your Smart TV.

Alternative connection: Chromecast

If you have Google's Chromecast connected to your TV, the transfer of the phone screen works even easier. Open the Google Chrome browser on the Zenfone 6. In the upper corner, you will now see an icon that allows you to stream the smartphone's image to the TV. Tap the icon for this.
