If you have significant problems with your iPhone X or plan to resell the device, it is worthwhile to reset the operating system. During this process, all data and settings are deleted from the smartphone and a fresh operating system is installed.

iPhone X: Reinstall iOS - this is how the setup works

You can reset the iPhone X in two different ways. However, the easiest way is to perform the re-setup directly on the iPhone itself.

1. If you plan to continue using the iPhone X after the re-setup itself, first create a backup via your iCloud.
2. Further, you can go to the settings of your smartphone and navigate to the "General" section.
3. There you will find the entry "Reset".
4. Once you have selected the button, tap on "Erase contents & settings" and confirm the process.
5. Once the reset has worked, the operating system is automatically reinstalled.

iPhone X: Reinstall iOS via iTunes

1. If you want to use iTunes for setup, open the program on your computer and connect the iPhone with the cable.
