Farming Simulator 19: Fertilize properly - how to do it

Fertilizing is important and actually not complicated. Nevertheless, there are some things you should know about the topic in Farming Simulator 19. Our guide explains how to fertilize properly in the game.

Without manure no growth: Fertilizing properly needs to be learned, but it's not witchcraft.

In Farming Simulator 19, the work steps are meant to be as realistic as possible. Fertilizing is consequently also part of it.

This is how you fertilize your fields in Farming Simulator 19

To fertilize correctly, you need to know the procedure:
  • Basically, there are two fertilization levels. These are displayed on the map under "Soil Condition", in blue (first stage) and dark blue (second stage).
  • For maximum yield, the second stage must be reached. Each level brings a bonus of 25 percent. Thus, a total of 50 percent is possible.
  • The process depends on the timing: The first fertilizing is possible on the fresh field parallel to sowing. The second stage takes place when the first growth phase is reached, so as soon as plants become visible in the field.
Followed by this, you can let your seeds grow in peace and then harvest. Without the second stage of fertilization, their yield is much lower; therefore, it is always worth doing the work.
