iTunes: Redeem credit - these options are available

With the help of an iTunes credit card, it is possible to buy content through the App Store or directly through iTunes. To use the card's credit, you must first redeem it via the code on one of your Apple devices.

This is how you redeem your iTunes credit

In order to be able to buy content in iTunes or the App Store, you first need credit on your account. You can get this, for example, by buying a credit card and entering the code on the back via an Apple device of your choice. The code must first be scratched free and consists of a total of 16 digits.

1. To redeem the credit via your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, open the App Store on the corresponding device.
2. Below you will find the "Today" button. Tap on it and then select your profile picture.
3. Further down you will now find the option "Redeem card or code". To use this option, you must be logged in with your Apple account.
4. Now you can enter the code manually or have it scanned using the camera. Follow the instructions to redeem the credit.
