Cambio is primarily active in the west and north of the Federal Republic. Divided into the federal states, this means:

• North Rhine-Westphalia: Aachen, Würselen, Cologne, Herzogenrath, Wuppertal, Bielefeld, Jülich, Eschweiler, Brühl, Düren, Bonn, Dormagen, Hürth, Siegburg, Sankt Augustin
• Lower Saxony: Uelzen, Oldenburg, Leer, Winsen, Achim, Bremerhaven, Lilienthal, Lüneburg, Wilhelmshaven
• Bremen
• Hamburg
• Schleswig-Holstein: Flensburg
• Berlin

The regional preferences are thus clear: With the exception of Berlin, the east is not served by Cambio at all, the same applies to the center of Germany and the south with Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.Also noticeable is that Cambio is active in many small cities and towns, which is a counterpoint to well-known services such as SIXT share or DriveNow. The focus on Aachen and the surrounding towns is rooted in its origins: Cambio originates from the imperial city and has its headquarters there. Aufgrund der geographischen Lage ist Cambio auch im benachbarten Ausland aktiv, nämlich in Belgien.
