Valheim: How to build the longship - and it can do it

In the oceans of Valheim, a stable undercarriage is quite important. The longship is the best, but also the most expensive floatable vehicle in the game, and we explain how you can build it.

Just as the carve is superior to the raft, the upgrade that a longship represents over the carve is just as clear.

Valheim: Build Longship

To build the longship, you will need 100 iron nails, 40 precious wood, 40 ancient bark and 10 deer hide. You can tell from the iron nails that you need to have access to a swamp biome to build the longship, since you won't find iron before.Once the longship is built, it has the following features:

• It has 1,000 health points, twice as much as the carve.
• The storage space includes 18 spaces. With the Karve it is only four.
• The top speed is 25 km/h (Karve: 17 km/h).
• Because of the much larger construction, more sailors can sit down on the longship (four seats excluding helmsman).

There is also the much larger turning radius to consider. Aufgrund der Überlegenheit in allen anderen Aspekten ist dies jedoch zu vernachlässigen; speziell auf hoher See gibt es ohnehin nur selten Platzprobleme.
