Valheim: Build windmill - how it works

Some buildings in Valheim can only be unlocked late, but then offer all the better new possibilities. This is also true for the windmill. Our guide explains how to unlock and build it.

The highest building stage: The windmill requires a craftsman's table.

The windmill is unlocked by building a craftsman's table. This in turn is hidden behind a high hurdle.

Valheim: How to unlock the windmill

This is the dragon Moder, the fourth boss in the game. You will find this one in the mountains.

• When you defeat Moder, you will receive a dragon tear. With this you can build the craftsman table (10 wood and 1 dragon tear).
• The craftsman table unlocks the windmill. For the construction are 20 stone, 30 iron nails and 30 wood needed.

The required resources are thus not the main problem, but the unlocking of the craftsman table. Nevertheless, Moder can also be hunted down with the right preparation; it is important in advance that they get three dragon eggs, which weigh 200 kg each and are not teleportable, to the destination.
