GOG Galaxy: How to take screenshots and how to find them

If you play games with GOG's Galaxy launcher and want to take screenshots, this is possible in many cases. Read on which key it depends and how it goes on.

For many players, GOG is a kind of insider tip, alone the topic DRM is always positively highlighted. With screenshots, however, there is something to consider.

GOG Galaxy: Screenshots depend on the game

Screenshots you create when playing with GOG as follows:

1. Press "F12".

This depends, however, on whether the game has an overlay. If it does not, screenshots are not possible. Fortunately, many games are able to do this. One indicator can be the age of the game: The newer the game, the higher the chance that screenshots are possible with "F12".Then you can find the screenshots on your Windows partition in the folder "\Documents\GOG Galaxy\Screenshots\GameName\".
