No question: Hidden object pictures are not exactly among the most popular tasks in Anno 1800. Nevertheless, it is important to know how you approach the matter.

Anno 1800: Solve hidden object pictures quickly and effectively

The term hidden object picture is not necessarily meaningful. Yet the tasks are by no means complicated:

• Hidden object missions are search tasks in which you have to look for NPCs or objects.
• To do this, you have to move across the map with a ship.
• Importantly, the position is displayed on the map, but not too accurately.
• After all, this allows you to narrow down the area and focus their search. Often it helps, for example, to drive around an island close to the coast.
• The searched objects are additionally marked with arrows. Drive close enough to pick them up with a mouse click.

Although hidden object missions are not too popular, they still remain useful, as they allow you to solve missions from (potential) allies. This not only brings a direct reward, but also increases your reputation, making trade agreements or alliances more likely.
