Anno 1800: Blueprint mode explained - all info

Thoughtful city planning is essential in Anno 1800 to keep growing and reach later levels. The blueprint mode is very useful for this. Our guide introduces the function.

With the blueprint mode you prevent annoying mistakes when building cities.

Anno 1800: Use blueprint mode passively or actively

The blueprint mode is automatically activated in Anno 1800 by default and is used if you place a building for which you do not have enough building materials. Alternatively, you can also use the mode deliberately before the construction:

• You activate the mode with the corresponding icon in the lower right corner of the construction menu.
• In blueprint mode, you put the outline of a building in the desired location without building the building.
• Resources are consequently not yet spent here, but only when you build the building.
• Mit „Zerstören“ können Sie Blaupause-Objekte einfach wieder entfernen.
• Der Blaupause-Modus eignet sich sowohl für einzelne Gebäude als auch für die Planung ganzer Gebiete.

Um ein Blaupause-Gebäude zu bauen, wählen Sie es einfach aus und klicken Sie auf den Baubefehl, der unten rechts erscheint.
