Valheim: How to use the ping on the map

In multiplayer sessions, planning, agreements and coordination are required. The Ping tool is a handy helper when it comes to specific locations on the map. Read how to use it.

Via ping you can draw attention to any locations on the map. This is helpful in many situations.

Valheim: Ping on the map on the road

The application is quite simple:

1. Open the map ("M").
2. Click on the desired location with the middle mouse button.

For your teammates who also have opened the map, a blue circle with your name will then appear at the location you clicked on. Whether for dungeons, ore deposits, troll caves or other important places, the ping feature is thus a simple but effective helper to organize the troop.
