Opening hours at Easter - this is how it looks

Holidays are not directly on everyone's mind. Usually, the days are so inconvenient that the planned shopping on Monday spontaneously falls into the water, because all stores are closed. For this reason, it is worthwhile to have an overview of all holidays and opening hours so that you can avoid unnecessary trips.

Opening hours on Easter: this is how it is on the holidays

Over the Easter period, the only thing that is really important is to know on which day the special holidays fall. Fortunately, the holidays on Easter are quite easy to keep.

1. Karfreitag is an official holiday in Germany, which means that all stores are closed. This year (2019) Good Friday is on April 19.
2. The following day is Holy Saturday. On this day, all stores are open as usual and you can safely stroll to shop.
3. Easter Sunday is also a holiday, so all stores are closed.
4. The following Monday is also an official holiday, making you for the weekend prefer to go shopping on the previous Thursday or still on Holy Saturday.

Opening hours on Easter: Wer ist ausgenommen?

1. Kleine oder private Geschäfte können sich die Öffnungszeiten an Feiertagen selbst aussuchen.
2. Viele Tankstellen haben an Feiertagen geöffnet, ebenso Imbissstände oder offene Stände.
3. Auch Geschäfte an Flughäfen und Bahnhöfen können geöffnet haben.
4. Ab dem 23. April ist alles wieder wie gewohnt und alle Geschäfte haben regulär geöffnet.
