How to create a data backup on the Huawei Mate X?

On the Huawei Mate X, you have the option of using a so-called "data backup app". With this, it is possible to create a backup and then save it on an external device of your choice. This way, the backup copy is always preserved for you and you can restore your system at any time.

1. First, download the Huawei Backup app from the Google Play Store.
2. Once the installation is complete, you can start it.
3. In the app, you can set the "Automatic backups" option. After that, a backup of your smartphone will be automatically created on the selected media at regular intervals. To manually create a backup, tap on "Backup".
4. Now select a desired medium. Hierfür müssen Sie mit diesem über Kabel oder WLAN verbunden sein.
