Huawei Mate X: Transfer data - how it works

When you switch from your old smartphone to a new device, you face the challenge of transferring the data. With the Huawei Mate X, you simply use an already built-in feature that allows you to transfer the data from any operating system.

How to transfer the data to the Huawei Mate X?

To transfer data from iPhone, Android or other iOS devices to the Huawei Mate X, use a specific function in the settings.

1. Click on the settings app and tap here further on "System" > "Phone Cloud".
2. Now you can select from which operating system you want to transfer the data. Here you have the choice between "Android", "iPhone 5 or newer" or "Other iOS devices".
3. Now open the app "Phone Clone" on your old phone and select the option "This is the old phone". Then scan the QR code. This will be displayed on your new smartphone.
