PDF: Remove password - how to decrypt the document

When you save a document as a PDF, you have the option to encrypt it and make it unchangeable. To do this, you set a password. However, there exist various programs and websites with which you can decrypt the document again.

How can you remove the password from a PDF file?

If you have a PDF from which you want to remove the password again, there are several methods.

1. If you know the password of the PDF, simply open the document with Acrobat Reader and click on "File" in the menu at the top.
