Do not open PDF in browser: Setting the document
If you do not want to open a PDF in the browser, but only in Adobe Acrobat Reader or another PDF program, you must set the file accordingly. If you use the free Adobe Reader, you can find the settings under "Edit".
How to prevent a PDF from opening in the browser
PDF documents can be opened in the browser or a PDF program by default. If you do not want a PDF to open in the browser, you can specify this in the settings. This is handy in some situations, for example in companies when PDFs should only be opened in pre-installed PDF programs for privacy reasons. Or for PDFs that you want to fill in.How a PDF opens is usually decided by the user's setting. However, if you change the settings accordingly, the document will no longer open in the browser even if the user has set it to do so. To do this, you need to remove an option in the preferences in Acrobat Reader. How to set Adobe correctly

- Entfernen Sie den Haken bei der Option „PDF in Browser anzeigen“.
