Musical.ly: Making sounds yourself - here's how it works

The Musical.ly app lets you film yourself while moving your lips in sync to a song you choose. The app has been marketed as a music app as well as a social media app. Once you have recorded a video, you can edit it again afterwards.

How to make your own sounds on Musical.ly

In the Musical.ly app, you can record videos where, for example, you have a song playing and move your lips in sync with it. Afterwards, you have the option to edit the video again until you agree with it. After that, you share the video within the app or via another social media app.

1. To create a sound yourself, you need two different videos. The first video you can record via the app and save it on your smartphone.
2. The second video can consist of your own sound or a downloaded sound.
3. After that you need the app InShot, you can download it for both Android and iOS from the respective app store.

6. In der Musical.ly-App können Sie nun das Video aus Ihrer Galerie auswählen.

8. Anschließend ist es möglich, ein neues Video zu Ihrem eigenen Sound aufzunehmen.
