T-Online: Setting up e-mail - how to set up your mailbox
At T-Online, as a fixed-line or mobile customer, you have the option of setting up your own mailbox and receiving a new e-mail address with @magenta.de or @t-online.de. In addition to the customer mailbox, T-Online also offers a freemail address.
How to set up your T-Online mailbox as a Telekom customer
Follow these steps to create a new T-Online mailbox as a Telekom customer:- Call the URL "https://meinkonto.telekom-dienste.de/telekom/email/introduction.xhtml" in your browser.
- Either log in with an existing account or click "Register" to create a new one.
- As a DSL customer, click the "Next" button at "Yes, I have a Telekom Internet connection." If you are not a Telekom customer, click "Next" at "No, I do not have a Telekom Internet connection." and follow the further instructions.
- Enter your desired email address and check the availability. Click "Next" once you have found an available address.
- Enter your Telekom landline number or if you do not have a landline number your access number with the associated personal password. Click "Next".
- Now enter the confirmation code, which you can have sent to either the email address or cell phone number stored in the contract.
- Set a password and security questions for your account. In addition, you have the option to set an extra password if you want to link the mailbox with a mail program.
