Samsung Galaxy S20: Screenshot - how to capture the screen

You can also take a photo of your screen on the Samsung Galaxy S20. For this, the Galaxy S20 offers three different options. You can take a screenshot via the key combination already known from the Galaxy S10, a screen gesture and a voice command.

This is how you create a screenshot

On the S20, just like on the S20+ and the S20 Ultra 5G, you have a total of three ways to create a screenshot:

Screenshot via shortcut key:

1. Press the Volume Down key and the Power button simultaneously.
2. The photo of your screen will be saved in the gallery under "Screenshots" and you will get a preview.
3. At the bottom of the screen, you can select whether you want to crop, edit or share the screenshot.
4. In WhatsApp, you will also see the screenshot as the last photo in the quick selection.

Screenshot per Sprachbefehl:

1. Sagen Sie dem Sprachassistenten Bixby, dass er einen Screenshot erstellen soll.
2. Aktivieren Sie den Sprachassistenten über seine Taste oder fangen Sie den Satz mit „Hey Bixby“ an, zum Beispiel: „Hey Bixby, erstelle einen Screenshot“.

Screenshot per Wischgeste:

1. Auch mit der Handkante über den Bildschirm wischen (von einer Seite oder einer Ecke zur anderen) erstellt einen Screenshot.
2. Falls Wischgesten noch nicht aktiviert sind, können Sie im Menü „Einstellungen“ über „Bewegungen und Gesten“ unter „Screenshot“ die Wischgeste aktivieren.

Der Scrollshot: So erstellen Sie ihn

1. Für längere Inhalte bietet sich der Scrollshot an.
2. Erstellen Sie zunächst einen normalen Screenshot.
3. Anschließend wird Ihnen die Option, einen Scrollshot zu erstellen, vorgeschlagen. Tippen Sie auf das entsprechende Symbol unten links, starten Sie die Aufnahme.
4. Erneutes auf den Bildschirm tippen beendet die Aufnahme.
