Create an iCloud account in just a few steps

To create an iCloud account, you first need an Apple ID. Only then can you store photos, music, videos and co. in your cloud and share them with family and friends. Once you have successfully set up iCloud, you can access your files from your devices.

How to create an iCloud account

In order to log in to your iCloud account, you must be in possession of an Apple ID. Usually, you will already be asked for your Apple ID when you set up your device. Here, click "Forgot your password or don't have an Apple ID yet?" and then click "Create a free Apple ID". Alternatively, you can also create your ID via the browser. To do this, go to the Apple ID web page and select "Forgot your Apple ID or password?". Then follow the on-screen instructions. Once you have created an Apple ID, you can create an account on iCloud. To do this, proceed as follows:

1. In the first step, open the iCloud website at: https://www.apple.com/de/icloud/setup/.
2. Now select the device on which you want to use iCloud. Here, for example, iPhone, Mac or PC are available to you.
3. Apple: Navigate to the menu and open iCloud. Sie müssen nun nur noch Ihre ID sowie Ihr Passwort eingeben.
4. Windows: Downloaden Sie die Anwendung „iCloud Control Panel“ und geben Sie auch hier Ihre Apple-ID sowie das zugehörige Kennwort ein.
