LG G8S Navigation: Find routes and places

If you want to navigate with your LG G8S, you can use the preinstalled app Google Maps for this. You can find this in the applications. Before using it for the first time, you have to register with Google or log in with an existing Google account.

How to use navigation on your LG G8S

LG G8S, like all modern smartphones, offers the ability to determine your position via GPS. Thus, you can retrieve your location on a map and display routes to different places. The Google Maps app offers a simple navigation option. This is preinstalled on the G8S and can be used for free. You only need a Google account for this. You also need to activate GPS if you want to retrieve a route from your location. To call up routes between addresses, you do not need location detection.

Navigating with Google Maps

1. Swipe down from the top to pull down the DeepL access bar.
2. Tap "GPS".
3. If the icon is green, GPS has been activated.
4. Open Google Maps.
5. Tap "Route" at the bottom right and "Select start" at the top.
