A sports flat rate for flexible athletes, check-in via app: this model has made names like Urban Sports Club famous in Germany. The U.S. company ClassPass is now making inroads into Europe and wants to conquer the market here as well.

ClassPass: Germany launch with three subscriptions

Then to the costs. ClassPass currently offers German customers three subscriptions:
  • For 29 euros per month you get 25 credits.
  • For 49 euros per month there are 45 credits.

What the credit system means in practice is quickly explained. Thus, the offers of participating partners, such as gyms or yoga classes, are assigned to a certain number of credits. If it costs 5 credits to attend a certain course, you can attend this course up to five times per month with the cheapest package. The credit prices differ depending on the provider, type of sport and course. The free trial month, which is available to all new customers, helps to find out personal needs. The prerequisite here is the app, as this serves to check in on site. The visit is thereby registered, the credits are automatically debited.
