Duolingo: Change language - how to do it

With Duolingo you can learn multiple languages at once. The progress of one language is easily saved and you can continue with another language at the same time. If you've accidentally switched your account and therefore want to change the language, it's easy to do via the settings.

How to change the language at Duolingo?

If you want to change the basic language or simply choose a different language course, you can do so via the flags.

1. Go to the Duolingo page in a browser of your choice and log in.
2. Click on the flag at the top right next to your profile picture and choose a different course. Now you are back to German.
3. Just select another course or language. Note that the app or the web interface changes depending on the source language. For example, if you select from Spanish to French, all instructions will be displayed in Spanish.
4. If you switch to another language, your progress will not be lost. Dieser wird abgespeichert und Sie können an der Stelle fortfahren, an der Sie aufgehört haben.
