TYPO3 Basics: Introduction for Beginners
TYPO3 is a CMS used to create websites. CMS means content management system and describes a software for collaborative creation of websites and their media content. Through TYPO3 you can generate a new website in no time.
TYPO3 Basics: How to get started
The prerequisite is, of course, that you have already installed TYPO3 and have also created an account.- In order to use TYPO3 to create a website now, you must first switch to your account.
- Navigate to the page [http://ihre-seite.de/typo3] and replace the URL with your personal link.
- There you can now log in with your login information in the account and directly start editing.
- If you still want to change the language to German, you must go to "Admin Tool" and then "Extension Manager".
- There you will now find "Translation handling", from which you select "German" and save by "Save selection".
TYPO3: How to create a website
- First click on "Page". There you can already specify in advance a structuring to the pages and subpages of your website.
- The individual pages can be filled with presets or standalone HTML code.
- Under "Functions" it is possible to enable or disable other useful features in TYPO3.
- If you want to know how your page is currently seen by visitors, click on "View" and select the page or subpage you would like to view.
